STEP-BY-STEP CONNECTION GUIDE

From zero to connected.

Three simple stages: prepare the host, ask to connect, and approve access.

01

Install DesktopBee on the Windows computer

Get the latest verified release from the Download Center when an installer is available. Start the desktop app on the computer you want to share. The current preview requires a Windows host.

02

Obtain its ID and current access code

The person at the host reads the computer ID and one-time access code from the DesktopBee application. Share the code only with the intended viewer.

03

Connect from Windows or the web

Enter the details in the viewer. The host chooses View Only or Full Control, then approves or declines. A session can be disconnected at any time.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Connection not working?

My device is marked Offline

Make sure DesktopBee is running on the host, your internet connection works, and the DesktopBee Cloud connection is active in the client status panel. You can use Help โ†’ Support diagnostics.

Why does the viewer need a new code?

Each session uses an access code and host approval, including previously recognized computers. Saved devices are not unattended-access credentials.

Why can't I control the keyboard or mouse?

The host may have granted View Only access. Ask the host to change the session to Full Control if remote input is necessary.

Is the installer available yet?

The Download Center lists a Windows installer only after the Windows build has been compiled, tested and explicitly published.

READY TO GET STARTED?

Remote support starts with a Windows PC.

Try DesktopBee Free with host approval and browser viewing. The download center always displays the current published release status.
